Any incident related to propane gas must be immediately reported to R&S via Vector.

9.15 Elevator EGNW has identified that some of its buildings are equipped with elevators (passenger and goods). EGNW will ensure that all new/existing elevators are permitted and maintained. Facilities will submit installation application and plans to Department of Labor and Industries when installing new elevators or for any alterations. Facilities will post an approved installation or alteration permit along with any approved plans issued by the department on the job site. Prior to placing a conveyance in service the licensed elevator contractor shall obtain and pass an inspection or receive written permission from the department. Facilities shall obtain and renew an annual operating certificate for each conveyance that is owned by EGNW. All materials lift, devices and safeguards will be maintained in a safe condition. Yearly maintenance, examinations, and safety tests will be performed by contractors and records of maintenance documented. Periodic tests (A five-year test of the material lift car and counterweight safety devices) shall be conducted, and the test shall be administered by a competent person. All lifts will be well lit at all times. All maintenance/decommissioning works on elevators will be conducted by contractors only. EGNW will promptly notify L&I of each accident to a person requiring the service of a physician or resulting in a disability exceeding one day, and shall allow the department every facility for investigating and inspecting the accident. When an accident involves the failure or destruction of any part of the construction or the operating mechanism of a conveyance, the use of the conveyance will be forbidden until it has been made safe; it has been re-inspected and any repairs, changes, or alterations have been approved by the department; and a permit has been issued by the department. The removal of any part of the damaged construction or operating mechanism from the premises is forbidden until the department grants permission to do so.
