be required as long as work is being carried out inside properly maintained guardrails and on a flat surface. Operators will be required to test scissor lift prior to using the equipment: • Test and inspect controls and components before each use. • Ensure that guardrail systems are in good working condition. • Verify that brakes once set will hold the scissor lift in position. Maintenance of scissor lift will be conducted by an external contractor. No EGNW employees will be allowed to repair scissor lift.
Any incidents related to scissor lift will be communicated to R&S through Vector.
Once equipment reaches it disposal stage, Accounting Department will notify Insurance and Claims Manager to remove equipment from insurance. R&S will ensure that equipment is disposed by following applicable environmental regulations.

9.11 Working with Electricity Electricity is a form of energy. Electricity is a serious workplace hazard, capable of causing both employee injury/death and property damage. EGNW uses electricity in many of its operations like building lighting, powering its equipment among others. EGNW will ensure that its employees, contractors and visitors are protected from electrical hazards through good work practices, engineering controls, administrative controls, use of personal protective equipment, lockout tag out, warning signs and labels. EGNW employees are not trained, experienced or authorized to work on or over 220V (Volts). Work on or over 220V must be contracted out. Contractors’ will provide their own arch flash clothing/training should they work with equipment which has the potential for arc flash. Contractors will follow EGNW LOTO procedure where necessary. Contractors will follow all WAC, NEC, and NFPA standard.
