A statewide law that provides the collection and recycling of unwanted electronics. Currently covers televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, e-readers & portable DVD players. Items are accepted at registered locations across the state at no charge to the public. Goodwill is one of these locations. Collectors like Goodwill are paid for their collection efforts . Re-use is heavily encouraged in the law and Goodwill! Test and price all televisions, monitors, e-readers & portable DVD players Send to Online: laptops Palletize all non-working/non-sellable covered items. This law passed in the State and is now 10 years old and still going strong! Goodwill and Washington State Work Together
