Loomis Paragon Recycler Quick Reference

Daily Operations

Start of Shift (Dispenses pre-programmed till) • Log In • Select Start of Shift • Select Register # • Notes and Coins will begin to dispense (Coins – Wait until red X is off the screen to remove coin tray) • Place notes and coins in till alongside the receipt that prints from unit • Repeat until all tills have been loaded • Log Out End of Shift (Deposit funds from their till) • Log In • Till Prep • Bills

• Check for any folded/damaged bills and unfold or smooth out as needed • Hold bills from one end and fan, switch ends and repeat

• Coins • Place coins in tray and sift through checking for debris, paperclips or any foreign objects • Do not raise red tray handle yet • Press End of Shift • Place bills into note acceptor • Press Start Coin Deposit & lift red tray handle • If any coin or bills were rejected, refeed them again • Foreign coin should go to E-Commerce if rejected by the recycler • When Complete, press Done (or Manual Drop if some bills or coin remain rejected) • Follow Manual Drop prompts & press Done when complete • Place Manual Drop into drop chute • Repeat until all tills have been completed • Log Out

Loomis Paragon Recycler Quick Reference Recycling Cassette & Coin Hopper Management- End of Shift* You will want to watch your recycling cassette and hopper levels in between loading each register at the end of the night. If a set of $1’s or $5’s cassettes or a coin hopper is nearing capacity, you will need to transfer money from the recycler to the auxiliary vault. Checking Recycling Cassette & Coin Hopper Levels • Log In

• Select Status button (bottom of screen) • Review the cassette and coin hopper levels Recycling Cassettes ($1’s & 5’s)- • Log In • Press Next one time • Press External Vault Fund (lower left corner of menu screen) • Select Transfer to Vault Fund • Choose the denomination you are transferring • Enter in the value or count o Best Practice: Transfer in counts of 20 notes

o If you have a lot of $1’s or $5’s in the upcoming registers, transfer a full cassette (60 notes) • Repeat for each denomination • Select Dispense • Pull money by denomination and bundle in bundles of 20 notes • Auxiliary Vault will automatically unlock once dispense is completed • Place funds in to Replenishment Fund shelf Coin Hoppers- • Log In • Press Next one time • Press External Vault Fund (lower left corner of menu screen) • Select Transfer to Vault Fund • Choose the denomination you are transferring • Enter in the value or count o Best Practice: Transfer in full roll amounts • Repeat for each denomination • Select Dispense • Pull money by denomination and place in zip top bags by roll amounts & seal bags • Auxiliary Vault will automatically unlock once dispense is completed Place funds in to Replenishment Fu

Drops from registers • Log In • Press Drop

• Select register number • Feed bills into bill acceptor • When Complete, Press Done (or Manual Drop if some Bills/Coins were rejected) o Follow Manual Drop prompts & press Done when complete o Place Manual Drop into drop chute Change for register- Change will only come from the recycler to the register. • Log In • Press Change for Reg • Select register number • Select amount needed by type & denomination and press Dispense • Log Out • Take change and slip to register Found Money from Production (All building leadership can do) • Log In • Press Drop • Select register number • Feed bills into note acceptor, coins into coin feeder • When Complete, Press Done (or Manual Drop if some Bills/Coins were rejected) o Follow Manual Drop prompts & press Done when complete o Place Manual Drop into drop chute • Log Out • Take slip to corresponding register and enter in as Found Money Loomis Deliveries/Pick Ups (Wednesdays only) When the Loomis driver arrives, remove the manual deposit from the Auxiliary Vault • Log In • Click Next twice • Chose Open Doors • Select External (Auxiliary Vault) • Open and remove deposit • Close door • Log Out

Receive Loomis Change Order - Wednesdays • Verify order matches Change Order Receipt prior to starting process • Log In • Hit Next • Select Receive Change Order • Enter values from Change Order Receipt

• Add Order number from Receipt (below barcode) • Place the cash and coin in the Auxiliary Vault • Log Out

Replenishment Best Practices • Perform replenishments after all tills have been checked back in to the recycler at the end of night (End of Shift) • Tip: Do not top off cassettes, coin hoppers or load cassette unless you receive a warning that is low. o Try to keep machine around 70-75% of capacity. This will reduce your chance of running out of capacity at the end of the day. • Verify the contents of the recycling cassettes and coin hoppers prior to starting replenishment o This will ensure you do not accidentally over fill the recycler and send currency to the deposit o Recycler will warn you if you have cassettes or hoppers that are empty, near full or completely full • Top off the notes cassettes in multiples of 20 for ones or fives. o If you break a strap bundle, rubber band in to bundles of 20 and place back in Auxiliary Vault. • Top off coins as needed. o If you cannot load a full bag of coin, roll the top of the bag closed and place back in recycler Replenishment – Deposit funds From Auxiliary Vault/Change Order (Refill the Recycler) Done after all tills have been loaded in to the recycler at the end of the day • Log In • Hit Next • Select Replenishment • External Vault • Open the Auxiliary Vault • Remove funds from the Vault • Feed bills into note acceptor and coins into coin feeder • Will automatically deduct from External fund • Click Done when finished • Log Out

Daily Bookkeeping Duties Each item below will be in Blue if it needs attention Items 1 and 2 are done nightly, if needed Item 3 is done on Tuesday night only, if needed

1) Audit External Vault: • Log In

• Hit the Next button twice • Select Daily Bookkeeping • Choose Audit External Vault • Open the auxiliary vault (middle) • Verify the funds in the vault match the amounts shown on the screen o Manual Deposit is not a part of this total 2) Empty Non Recycled Coins (50 cent and dollar coins) • Log In

• Hit the Next button twice • Select Daily Bookkeeping • Choose Empty Non-Recycled coin • Open Coin Recycler door (left hand side)

• Remove tray of coins (clear tray above coin hopper) • Add coins to manual deposit bag for Loomis to pickup 3) Empty Drop Vault (Prepare Manual Deposits for Loomis Courier) - Done on Tuesday night after close • Log In • Hit the Next button twice • Select Daily Bookkeeping • Choose Empty Drop Vault • Remove Funds from bin and prepare Manual Deposit Bag for the Courier • Unit will ask “Did you empty drop vault?” • Select “Yes” • Prepare manual deposit bag for Loomis to pickup • Add Non-Recycled coins ($0.50 & $1 coins) to manual deposit and place in bag

(4) Seattle Store ONLY Empty Reject Cassette: • Log In • Hit the Next button twice • Select Daily Bookkeeping • Choose Audit External Vault • Select Status at the bottom of the screen • Select Note Recycler o Choose Empty Reject

o Open the vault door (right) with safe combo and slide lever to left o Lift lid o Push down on B25 and pull rack out o Push down on 63 to release the reject cassette o Open reject cassette with cassette key and remove bills o Replace reject cassette o Push rack in, lower lid, shut the door, slide lever to right o Select Done and wait while the recycler resets • On the Empty Reject screen, select the red Reject box and answer the question with “I emptied the cassette” • Select Done o Select Feed and insert bills into the note acceptor o Select Done o Answer the prompt (Typically “No”) o Answer the second prompt (Typically “No”) o Empty Reject Report prints • Select Done Clearing Errors (When you have a RED Status condition): 1. Log in 2. Select Status on the bottom of the screen 3. Select Note or Coin Recycler, depending where the jam/error is 4. Select Clear Jam/Error and follow instructions Managing Users: ASM & Store Manager function 1. Log In 2. Select Manage Users 3. Chose Edit, Delete, New based on needs 4. Have user enter in their first name & hit Next. Enter in last name & hit Next 5. Select Finger scanner and follow prompts 1. User will scan two different fingers on their right hand following prompts 6. Select Keypad and follow prompts 1. User will enter in their full employee ID number & 4 digit password 2. Preventative Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Preventative Maintenance: Coin Tray:

• Pull out the coin tray fully • Lift the red ramp & look under towards the back. • Remove any coins that may have fallen in • Remove any dust or debris at the bottom of the tray Recycler Bays: • Log In • Hit the Next button twice • Open Doors • Rack out each section • Use electric blower and gently blow out each section • Slide each section back in and make sure everything locked back in to place • Close doors Troubleshooting: Status screen shows yellow • Check if the screen is showing a warning message Example “Ones are running low” • Coins or Notes- one or more denominations are running low

o Machine will still run, unless it is out of a denomination (will show empty in red) o Top machine off from auxiliary vault after all tills have been checked back in (end of shift) • System- Something needs attention

o Click status button o Click System status

o Review the list shown for anything marked in yellow o Call Revolution Helpdesk for assistance- 1-833-984-8267

Status screen shows red

• Click the Status button • Look for the areas that are showing red on the screen • Click the blue button for that section • Click Clear Jam/Error button • Click Fix Problem • Follow the prompts & videos

Loomis Paragon Recycler Quick Reference Technical Support Calls • If calling for technical assistance, make sure to get a case number from the Revolution/Glory helpdesk staff. • If a tech is being sent out, ask what time you are to expect them on site o Service Level Agreement (SLA) is 4 hours. o Send Tiffany Hatch an email or text (206-550-3591) with the case number, time you are expecting the tech and details of why they are coming out. This is for monitoring and follow up purposes o If the tech does not arrive within the service window, call Revolution/Glory back and have them follow up with the tech.
