4. What do I do when I receive product after my initial shop set? • You will receive updates throughout the season to help you with where to place new product. Make sure you adjust the presentation to fit the new items. If you did not receive an update, just like #2, look at what the item is and merchandise it in the best location to promote cross selling. 5. Can something be merchandised in more than one location? • YES! If you have overstock of an item that is in one of the featured looks, it can also be in the category it represents. If you have an item that matches two featured looks, it can be merchandised in both. 6. Some items are on more than one “look” page. Where do I put them? • Some items will work with more than one “look”. You can put them in both places (if there is enough stock), or pick the look that has the most room. 7. Can I have back stock? • YES! Make sure there is at least one peg of everything out on the floor. • Organize back stock in totes labeled with the category/look and items inside for easier stocking. • Stock the floor daily and condense product as it sells down to make room for back stock and new items. 66
